When they started playing a game of catch-the-bottle, the very same person threw the bottle being passed around at him, instead of in the direction of his outstretched hands.
Bullying has become a relentless oppression that haunts many of our society's young. Those who become prey to this reprehensible practice live difficult lives. Distress and depression devour them and they become prone to unhealthy activities and self-destruction.
Research says that bullying is the main cause of many teenagers committing suicide. Being driven to an inescapable level of desperation, the victims are left with horrifying solutions. To either retaliate, or self-destruct.
None of which qualify as solutions for the problem.
So, what makes a bully, a bully?
Inspiration comes in many ways, the media and the internet topping the list. Many individuals having mental disorders also are feasible to find pleasure in watching others squirm and plead under their influence.
We need a system with which the victimized can restore their sense of self-worth and stand up for themselves.
Bullying can be ended.
