Education: A Business.
8:35:00 AMEducation has now become a business. Institutions of today have constructed such a system of education which successfully enchants parents; keeping them under the illusion of their children being given quality education, and draining them of their wealth, simultaneously.
As soon as a child nears the age of six, worry grips the parents of today. They consult with their relatives and friends, trying to find the best school for their child. They go to great lengths to get their child enrolled in a good private school, after the pre-school education has been completed.
And what do they get? In return for their hefty investments in their child's future? A child that has been forced with traditional concepts, being passed down the generations. This child hasn't explored the creativity he's born with, and has no clue about the talents he might have. As time goes by, this now-teenager matriculates, the ancient curriculum of both the higher secondary and college-level studies ensuring that no modern ideology secures a place in this teenager's mindset.
This might as well be the primary cause of our country's position.
Our government doesn't seem to keen, either, on addressing this serious issue.
