The attack was all over the news. I only learned of it on my return from my university.

Our intelligence agency had discovered about the assault and precautionary measures had been put into action. However, the terrorist organization responsible for the attack chose to bring about their destruction elsewhere. Had it not been for the security detail, and the reinforcements that came to aid the already present security personnel, the damage would have been far more disastrous. Even the civilians armed themselves against them, which is being seen as courageous. 

They chose another center of learning, again, infiltrated the University of Charsadda, and fulfilled their sacred task of slaughter and bloodshed. 

They took the lives of twenty—and even more—students. Some of the teaching staff were also targeted and killed. Many were wounded, some died right after, some survived. 

The survivors' narratives were that of horror. 

It was confirmed by the media that the terrorists were fifteen-year-old teenagers...

And that is how these depraved get their dirty work done; by manipulating children into completing their demonic arts.

How will the families of the martyred cope with the deaths of their loved ones? 

How many more deaths will we have to see? Are we globally marked for misery and humiliation for the rest of our lives? 

Who was truly responsible for this massacre? 

Will these culprits be caught and will they be put to death? 

Or will this cycle of bloodshed continue undeterred?
